What to expect

We begin at Pura Tanah Lot, a temple on a rock reaching out into the ocean.

Then we travel into the mountains, with an optional visit to a butterfly park along the way.

We will explore the ancient jungle temple of Pura Batukaru. Far from busy towns, this is a place to listen to birds, wind and cicadas and enjoy the quiet surroundings.

A short drive away are the beautiful Jatiluwih rice terraces, part of Bali’s UNESCO-listed cultural landscape. We will walk among the terraces and enjoy the panoramic views.

On the return journey, we will visit Pura Taman Ayun, a 17th-century royal temple surrounded by water, known for its tiered shrines.
